Goochand United Partners with the Richmond Kickers to Offer Travel Soccer to Local Youths
Goochland United is pleased to offer a travel soccer program for kids in GoochlandCounty through our partnership with the Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club.
U-9 & U-10 Boys and Girls Travel – The Kickers Collegiate Program
The program at Collegiate ("Kickers Collegiate") serves as the Kickers affiliate program for GoochlandCounty and WesternHenricoCounty. This is a complimentary program to the Kickers affiliates including “Kickers North” in Ashland, “Kickers Central” in the City of Richmond, and “Kickers South” in ChesterfieldCounty.
Tryouts:
Tryouts for Kickers Collegiate U-9 and U-10 Boys and U-9 and U-10 Girls will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at Collegiate Robins Campus.Tryouts for the boys will take place from 5:00pm to 6:30pm with the girls beginning immediately following from 6:30pm to 8:00 pm.
Kickers ADP is a new instructional program offered to young U-7 and U-8 players to provide a quality and enjoyable soccer environment that will enhance their skills, coordination, and understanding of the game.The primary objective is to introduce all ADP players to the fundamental technical skills and decision-making needed to participate on Kickers ADSL Travel teams (U-9 to U-12).The program provides a transitional link between recreational and competitive soccer.
Unlike other ADP programs, the Kickers do not require players to tryout.Alternatively, players wishing to participate must register their child in advance for the ADP program.Space is limited and the program is expected to be in high demand so registering early is recommended.Register online via RichmondKickers.com.
U-11 and Older Boys and Girls Travel
For kids U11 and older that are interested in playing travel soccer, they need to register for Kickers Central or Kickers South depending on their preferred location. See attached link.
