The Western Academic Campus is located near Routes 6 and 632 in the community of Goochland Courthouse. This campus offers a range of programs in horticulture, automotive and diesel mechanics, welding and equine management.

Driving Directions

 

From Points East:
I-64 West to the Oilville Exit 167. Turn left on Route 617 3/4 mile to US Route 250. Right on US Route 250 one mile to Route 632. Left on 632 for approximately 5 miles to Dickinson Road. Left on Dickinson to the campus on the left.

From Points West:
I-64 East to the Route 522 Mineral/Gum Springs Exit 159. Approximately seven miles to the campus on the left.

From Points North:
I-95 South to I-295 West Charlottesville Exit 84B. I-295 to I-64 West Charlottesville Exit 53A. Turn left on Route 617 3/4 mile to US Route 250. Right on US Route 250 one mile to Route 632. Left on 632 for approximately 5 miles to Dickinson Road. Left on Dickinson to the campus on the left.

From Points South:
I-95 or I-288 North to I-64 West Charlottesville Exit 79. Turn right on Route 617, 3/4 mile to US Route 250. Right on US Route 250 one mile to Route 632. Left on Route 632 for approximately 5 miles to Dickinson Road. Left on Dickinson to the campus on the left.

or

I-288 to west on Patterson Ave.  Patterson Avenue is also known as Route 6. Continue west on Patterson Avenue to the town of Goochland which will be approximately 20 miles. You will have passed two state correctional facilities. Proceed thru the town of Goochland (still west on Rt 6). The entrance of J. Sargent Reynolds will be on the right side right after Wachovia Bank. Make right there, the road winds around where the new Goochland Y is located and comes out at J. Sargent Reynolds parking lot. Park at the furthest end of the lot since the U-10 field is up behind the tennis courts.

Take Midlothian Turnpike (Route 60) west from Midlothian into Powhatan County until you reach State Road 522. Turn right on State Road 522 heading north toward Goochland. Once you cross the James River you will merge with Patterson Avenue (Rt.6). Make a left onto Patterson Avenue (heading west). Proceed thru the town of Goochland (still west on Rt 6). The entrance of J. Sargent Reynolds will be on the right side right after Southtrust Bank. Make right there, the road winds around where the new Goochland Y is located and comes out at J. Sargent Reynolds parking lot. Park at the furthest end of the lot since the U-10 field is up behind the tennis courts.
